Jay,

Had a customer several years ago that backed up his FreeBSD clients with the
NDMP SDK from ndmp.org.  Granted this was with a different software product
(BudTool from Legato/Intelliguard) but it worked!  Considering NBU supports
NDMP ver. 3, it might be worth a shot if all else fails.
