[Veritas-bu] Weird tape write protect

I have solaris 8 and a L1000 with 4 DLT drives attached and running =
netbackup 3.2GA

Has anyone seen before a drive which thinks tapes are write protected =
when they are not.
An op notices a light on the tape drive saying tapes were write =
protected when they weren't.
This may explain why im getting a lot of error 52's lately
