i am able to find the data size on the tape, but if there is a way to find
the files that are backup on the tape will be good. anybody knows?

Number of files I'm not sure, but data on tape you can use one of NBU's
canned reports.  I don't remember which one exactly, but there are only 3 or
4 involving media.  Give them a try.
