You're not using the Lotus Notes agent, aren't you? Lotus Notes (Domino) is
a SGBD, and, as for Oracle or Exchange fe., you need an agent (backup
extension) to
do a warm backup. Alternative is to shutdown the Domino engine during the
backup (and do a cold backup).
