No, FP3 is a complete installation of NetBackup 4.5.  You do not have to an 
interim upgrade to 4.5 GA code.

I am upgrading a server from 3.4 to 4.5fp3.   The indication I have from the 
documentation is that I must first upgrade the server to Netbackup 4.5 and then 
upgrade from 4.5 to 4.5 fp3.  Is this correct?
 
I will upgrade the clients from 3.4 to 4.5.  Then upgrade the client database 
module.  I will then upgrade the client from 4.5 to 4.5fp3 which includes the 
database module as part of the client install.  Is this also the correct 
procedure or can i go straight from 3.4 to 4.5?
