Probably a topic that's been discussed many times before.

Anyone have some general guidelines for initial settings of the =
multiplexing attribute within the schedule window of the class?

I have inherited the system and the majority of the classes are set =
across the board with 7 (fulls and incrementals), and the max setting of =
the storage unit properties is at 10.

Backups are completed very well and well within the window , but restore =
times are atrocious for any restores that require a significatnt amount =
of data. Any suggestions for modifications? I have a feeling these =
current settings are way off.....

NBU 3.4.1_1 Master/Media
W2K SP3
STK L700
10 Seagate LTO drives
5 San media servers

Thanks!!

ERIC
