 Did you check the Media Manager Device Configuration Guide - there's several
step-by-step procedures for the misc server suuported OSes.

 Check the Unix Rosetta Stone, it's very usefull for specific OSes commands :

 The AIX equivalent for sunsolve could be the AIX Documentation Library
