Wait, sorry, I missed the "NDMP" in the subject line - forget the following,
I can't speak about NDMP.

rent volume
Did they start out in those locations or is this a restore to a different
location?
If its a restore to the original locations, then just select the two files &
start the restore. From the command-line, it'll look like:
bprestore <options> /vol1/file1 /vol2/file2
If you are restoring to a different location, you can use a "rename" file.
Create a file with the path changes in it, for example in a file called
"/tmp/rename", place the following two lines:
change /path1/file1 to /vol1/file1
change /path1/file2 to /vol2/file2
You can also manipulate just directories on a per line basis
change /path1 to /path2
...and all files in /path1 will write into /path2
Don't have stray spaces or blank lines in the rename file, they're
significant.
I think this is the answer you're looking for. If not, post back.

Hi All,
is it possible to do selective restore of two files to two different
location. I mean restore file1 in /vol1 and restore file2 in /vol2 in one
shot. if yes then where to specify different relocation path on file basis.
any input are most welcome
Thanks
Vikas
