Was this media used on a different media server? If so append the -h
<hostname>.
I've also seen this when the media server has been rebuild, but the
/usr/openv/volmgr/database/mediaDB was not kept.
What is the output from:
bpmedialist -U -mlist -ev Z00016

Has anyone received this error before ? It won't let me freeze any tapes
on my test server. Backups and restores, and the robot etc, all seem to
work.
# bpmedia -freeze -ev Z00016
requested media id was not found in NB media database and/or MM volume
database
