If at all possible, use a machine that is off your production network and
has no accessibility whatsoever to the production master. Also use a tape
library that is non-production as well.
There will be a document posted to BackupScripts.com shortly by a DR
professional who just finished his company's tests. This should be very
helpful information to have online.
