Don't think this is possible!
My understanding has always been that when planning Netbackup you must
retain the same Name of the Server - Even in the event of a disaster,
Netbackup must be restored to the same server name / configuration as
before.

And I think it is possible to rechange the name, but I do not believe its
supported by Veritas, however if you pester them I am told it "may" be
possible!!

how about restoring the catalog to a new server with the same name, then
renaming the server ?
will the server still function properly?
