I'm afraid you need to read from something & then write to something to
duplicate.  

If you do backups to a disk storage unit, you could then duplicate the
images to tape.  

Another option would be to do the backup twice, in sequence, from the
client, sending one of the two images offsite.

        I have new Quantum M1500 library with only 1 DLT drive and I need to
know if it is possible to duplicate tapes with just 1 drive.  I need to do
this to send tapes offsite each day for disaster recovery.  If anybody has a
better suggestions, throw 'em out there.  Thanks!
