Your best bet is to purchase an specific NBU agent for the application
you are trying to run. I believe you can get them for all major databases. As
far as I know there is no way to run a "before" script as a part of a scheduled
backup execution. You can potentially kick off a backup via a command line or
through a scheduler. This way you can run whatever you want before you kick it
off.
