[Veritas-bu] Problem issuing bpbackup via command line on Sun box
2003-03-11 08:41:01
I'm having problems issuing a Netbackup(3.4.1) bpbackup command on a Sun
server (os 5.8) using the -w flag - the master server is STSS03 and the
Client is STSNT04.
I'm trying to get the backup to wait and report back on successfull
completion.
For example if I put
bpbackup -c stsnt04_Test -i -h stsnt04 -s TEST -w
Command caught on signal 11 (SEGV)
bpbackup -c -stsnt04_Test -i -h stsnt04 -s TEST -w 0
EXIT Status 144 : invalid command useage
bpbackup -c stsnt04_Test -h stsnt04 -s TEST -w 0
This fails 239 trying to back up STSS03 as the client rather than STSNT04!!
These commands work ok on a HP Master server but seem to react different on
a SUN server
Any help greatly appreciated.
