Hi,

I had the same problem that was solved by the storagetek guys which upgraded
the firmware on the drives and manually tested every tapes. The tapes were
causing this and an error occured on the drive whenever you put the tape in
the drive with an error code (37a2 , 3791 or something similar)that could be
read on the tape drive. Most of the tape which caused this already had one
media error but the threshold was 2 at the time. The backup after which it
happened might have finished well but then it wasn't able to unload.

The firmware was 1.30.11 at this time
