Gina,
I don't know if you resolved your question, but below are the steps
I have taken to do past JNI firmware upgrades (substitute your driver as
needed).

1. Go to website: www.jni.com
2. Click Drivers
3. Click FCE-6410 at "Locate Driver by Product:"
4. Scroll down to Solaris listing
5. Click JNIC.pkg to download
6. Click EZF_22i.tar to download
AFTER DOWNLOADS:
Install the FCE-6410 drivers.
7. cd /home/rrichard/packages
8. pkgadd -d JNIC.pkg all << EOF
y
y
EOF
9. prtconf -v |grep JNI
Install the EZ Fibre configuration software.
10. tar xvpf EZF_22i.tar
11. cd EZF_22
12. ./install.sh
13. cd /opt/jni/ezfibre/standalone
14. ./ezf &
15. configure
AFTER UPGRADE:
16. reboot -- -r
AFTER REBOOT:
17. drvconfig
18. devlinks
19. disks
