Hi Douglas,

STK L700 can mix deferent types of drives and medias.
If you remain DLT8000 medias and drives,
you should define another media type to SDLT media and drive.
If you define DLT8000 and DLTIV medias are "DLT",
you should SDLT320 and SDLT medias are "DLT2".

Current released SDLT320 has only SCSI LVD interface,
If you want to connect it with fibre interface you have to buy
SCSI-FC router ( Storagetek can provide you SN3250 or SN3400).
