Thanks to all who responded.
As suggested by a number of people, I used the
/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/tpconfig command to update my existing robot
changer's device file. I restarted the netbackup daemons afterwards.
Another Veritas guru provided me with the following instructions using the
admin GUI.
>From the GUI, select the robot and right click it and choose "change".
When
the robot configuration screen comes up verify a few entries:
* Robot type TLD
* Robot is controlled locally by this device host (Local)
* Make the change to the robotic device file by either browsing to select
or
manually type:
o /dev/sg/c1t1l0
Stop the media manager daemons and restart them.
Again, thanks to everyone. I've included my original post for those who've
