Hi,

I have two Sun E450's running Solaris 8 with the 4.5 client. I have lots of
other servers that I'm backing up every night without issues. The only
difference between these two systems and the rest is that they are running
Oracle and VCS. I have the backups generating the logs and this is what I see
from the bpbkar log on the clients:

was successfully completed

We are not using the oracle agent because we only need to backup the hot backup
tables and the redo logs. We did not have any issues until we transitioned to
4.5. The two clients have plenty of memory and I don't see any errors about
shared memory.

Any ideas what the problem could be? The log seems to indicate that the backup
was successfull, but the error seems to be from reading the server's exit
status.
