You can also use -h <volume database host> if you want to do it from a
server other than the voldb host.
-rh is used to specify the robot control host if the server you're running
it from is not the control host.
-empty_map should be used on 4.5 instead of -empty_ie. map is the new
terminology, so you might as well write any scripts this way now since the
old will eventually go away.
retries and retry delay are often helpful in a script just in case...
vmupdate -rn $robot_number -rh $robot_control_host -rt $robot_type -h
$voldb_host -empty_map -use_barcode_rules -retries $retries -retry_delay
