Try setting the fields to autosize.  I've experienced the exact same
symptoms and that fixed my problem.

I set my Activity Monitor up for certain views. I can't display Kilobytes
field. It use to work until I changed my layout around. The layout says
that this field is in a show state. I cannot see it in my Activity Monitor.
Anybody have any suggestions prior to me reinstalling it?
