Hi,

We recently started using QLogic HBA's on our Solaris machines, and we've
noticed some strange behavior.  When the machine offline's a drive, it downs
the drive.  No other machines are able to use the drive.  Has anyone
observed similar behavior with the QLogic's?  We're using the QLA2300 driver
version 4.03 with Storagetek 9840-A drives.

Also, can anyone point to any documentation on how to statically bind drives
without rebooting the machine?  We were able to do this with our JNI HBA's,
but haven't found any documentation on how to do it with the QLogics.
