Andy,

Amazingly enough, that's what it's supposed to be.  Sounded odd to me, but
that's what support said it should be.  Actually, if I remember correctly,
it is Unknown Generic Device (or changer).  We couldn't make ours work in a
Compaq SAN environment, so we have a StorageWorks monstrosity.  It does show
a Compaq driver in Device Mangler.

I have connected a W2K server to an STK L700e silo (via a SAN).

However the W2K server states that the Medium Changer is "unknown".

Will this cause me a problem when setting up NBU?
