OK. Thanks for everyone who answered.

I didn't make myself clear:

I want to do a "remote NDMP", so both drives are attached directly to
master
server (not to filer). I do not use SSO too.
Master server has it's NDMP daemon running.

I can't see any way to mark drive as NDMP in that case - but I had
successful NDMP backups without it.
AFAIR manual stated to set them as host-attached.

I can't see any way to assign a drive to storage unit - only robot.

You can split a robot which has two drives, one to non-ndmp backup and the
other drive to NDMP backup but you cannot share drives. SSO is not
support for NDMP backups.

Example:

Robot - with Robot number of 0
Drive one connected to a solaris box /dev/rmt/0
Drive two connected to a NDMP box(NetApp) nrst0a

When you define the drive you would enter /dev/rmt/0 connect to robot 0
and is drive 1 of the robot
When you define the NDMP drive you would enter <NetApp hostname>:nrst0a
connect to robot 0 and is drive 2 of the robot.

You would define 2 storage units.

One say it is a NDMP storage unit and has one drive in it.
Second one is a Media storage unit and has one drive in it.
