What platform are you running on?  If it's Un*x based and you're not averse
to using Perl, you might want to look into my Perl modules, available from
cpan: http://search.cpan.org/author/DUTCHMAN/NBU-0.75/
Inside it is a script called "js.pl" which will list you active and queued
jobs but better than that is the script "nbutop.pl" which provides a running
overview of active jobs and their status, much like the top utilitity does
for Unix processes.
