Hi Shazia.

NetBackup remove information about backupes on a media after
three days, when is last backup was written. Then tape is from NetBackup
point of view empty. You can use same tape automatically again in this time.
But time what is need from start tape using to it's filling  you have to 
add to
expiration period.
