Let see, if you actually run bpimmedia (I think that's it) there is =
a field, DWO, which stands for device written on, I'm not sure if this =
is what you are looking for or not. Naturally only successful backups =
will be in this DB.
=20
Hope this helps
David

Subject: [Veritas-bu] How to find allocated drives
=20
=20
Hi All
=20
Does somebody know how to get drives allocated at the moment =
including those allocated to backups which are running long =
bpstart_notify scripts.
=20
I have playedaround with the commands:
=20
vmoprcmd which tells me which drives there tapes in=20
=20
and
=20
vmdareq which tells me which drives that are located to which =
server.
=20
Unfortunately these commands dosn't include drive reserved by =
backup that are running bpstart_notify scripts.
=20
Any ideas ?
=20
=20
Regards
Michael
