[Veritas-bu] RE:Access to Netbackup administration for operators

They'll need to be local admins to run the Windows admin console.
You can install the admin console on a workstation where they are local admins
and add the host name of the workstation to the server list on the master.
Depending on what you want them to do, you may have to add the workstation to
the server list on the media servers and clients as well.

Hello,
I have a relatively simple query which I'd appreciate your help on.
We're running Netbackup Datacenter 3.4 on Windows 2000. There are a number
of operations staff who need to be able to run the Netbackup administration
software on the master server, however they have not been given local
administrator rights to the machine. Does anyone out there know a simple way
to allow them to use the Netbackup Administration console applications
without granting them full local admin rights to the machine?
Thanks and Best regards
