The catalog is on the master in /usr/openv/netbackup/db/.  If you have v3.4
or earlier, then the catalog is flat ascii and can be read and sorted with
sed/awk/grep/etc.  If you have v4.5, then it could be ascii or binary
format.  If it's binary, you're limited to NB tools to access it.

Howdy,

Does anyone have any good diagrams that show the catalog format? I
am trying to figure out how it is organized, what tools can
be used to query and update it, and also where it is stored when
you have one master and multiple media servers.
