Hi,

Assuming you have configured the two systems to be able to "see" both
libraries and all tape drives on the OS level, you can then proceed to
configure one of the Master server as the Master of Masters (i.e. GDM).

ok this time I want to ask about a possible netbackup
solution.

I have two separate system of backup.
S1= master server+ media server + clients + L700
    (solaris2.6+ netbackup 3.4)
S2= master server+clients + L700e
    (solaris8 + netbackup 3.4)
What I need is the following:
 to be able to redirect jobs of backup from S1 to
L700e(library of the second system).

I don't know if I can use the Global Data Manager
solution,
or establish a relation between the two master servers
or only a network link .
