You can bypass the version check by:

./Vrts_patch.install -v

Hello everybody,

for compatibility reason i need to install clients patches ( it's a
Veritas recommandation for files larger then 2 Go on lInux ), well i did
dowload them and untar them in /usr/local/src then ran sh
Vrts_patch.install. and the only thing i get is :

No readable product version file was found for HSM or NetBackup.
Exiting Vrts_patch.install

i tried on several hosts and get the same issue ... so if someone could
give me some hints to get ride of that ??
