Actually, there is a correction I want to make to my query. The piece
that does not work is the "Remote NDMP", using a 3.4 NT Media Server as
the NDMP host for the tape drives. I understand that the service
required on NT or Windows 2000 to "talk" NDMP is not there. I also
understand that 3-Way may work, with the tape device host being an NDMP
host other than the NT system. Apparently in 4.5 the NDMP service for NT
exists and the remote piece works.
Another correction is that the hardware we are using is a Celerra
Server.
