You can NOT select them from the "clients" list on the admin console and
configure them unless the client has the admin console in it's server list...

however, you can make changes to the master (global attributes, STU config,
media & device management, backup policy, etc.) with the admin console only by
being in the master's server list... and I think this does include
server-directed restores, but since there's doubt I'm not 100% sure about the
restore part (maybe it needs to be in master and media for restores, but not
clients ???  I remember doing this in the past and think admin console was in
master and media and don't remember it being in the clients)

You can config those guys without the console's server entry in there?

Is this 4.5?

Are you using an authorize.txt file in /usr/openv/var/ ?
