Hi,
Check for stray spaces on the lines. Exclude & include lists are space
sensitive since they are significant to other OS's (like NT).
Also, make sure that your class name in the "exclude_list.linux" is
identical to your NB class names, capital letters are significant, too.
Test it by dropping the class extension. Try it with just "exclude_list" as
a name. It'll work for all the classes that run against that client like
that and will be a test for whether the class names match identically.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Netbackup Linux Exclude List ?
hello,
i'de like to exclude some directory from being backup. As i read on
Faqomatic i need to create a file called for example : exclude_list.linux
(if my class name is linux) then in this file i need to declare the path the
backup sould omit :
for example :
/var/log/
/usr/oracle/oradata
etc...
i've tested it but i does not work for me ... what am i missing or doing
wrong ? Do i need to restart the client or daemon manager ?
Thanks for any hints.
Regards Emmanuel.
