[Veritas-bu] Reset /etc/mnttab on a SUN.
2002-07-01 19:07:19
Hi Forum,
I've been receiving this messages on two on my SUN clients backup, and don't
know how to turn it off. I realise that NBU is trying to reset the access
Time/Date stamp for the time of the backup. The clients are Solaris 8
TIME SERVER/CLIENT TEXT
07/02/2002 00:06:32 licbak ifxgeoN from client ifxgeoN: WRN - Could not
reset
access time of /etc/mnttab
07/02/2002 00:09:45 licbak ifxgeoD from client ifxgeoD: WRN - Could not
reset
access time of /etc/mnttab
Have tried to reset the permissions on the /etc/mnttab file, but received an
error :-
ifxgeoD SUPER # chmod 644 /etc/mnttab
chmod: WARNING: can't change /etc/mnttab
Any ideas / help grateful, Thanks.
Regards
