Multiplexing is more than one backup image being simultaneously written to a
single drive. One server being backed up by multiple processes, each
(hopefully) pulling a different part of the filesystem is multi-streaming.

It's possible that more than one stream from a single client is written to
the same physical drive, making both at once.

Hopefully this is question has simple answer. How is the word multiplexing
used when discussing backups with Veritas? Are several servers backed up to
a single drive at one time or is one server streamed to several drives at
one time?

Thanks
