Chris,
Check the Problems Report to see if there is anything specific in there as
to why it failed. It is a Socket issue that could have quite a few causes.
Also, check the following:
1. make sure the Client NBU software is 3.4 not 3.2 or 3.1.1.
2. make sure the NT Client is at SP4 or higher. SP3 had some issues
3. it is possible the NT Client executables are corrupted. You may want
to de-install them and reinstall them to see if that works
4. turn on the Client logs (run the MKLOGDIR.BAT file in
\netbackup\logs) which may help to diagnose the problem if it persists.
