I would freeze that tape and try another backup to see if it an issue with
the server or the tape.  If it is the server it will have trouble mounting
another tape.  We have to determine what is going on and why you cannot
mount tapes.  Usually when there is a mount issue there is something wrong
with the tape path.  I would not run any more backups and use robtest to be
sure you can move tapes in and out of the robot on the drives and if it is
unix use the mt -f </dev/rmt/??cbn offline on the media server to unload the
drive.  If you can issue this command for all the drives then it can be
other things going on, like a miscommunication with the master, an issue
with SSO and the server not being on the list to share the drive, OS patches
missing or missing NBU pathces.  All the master and media servers must be at
the same patch level.

Are the tape drives in an UP STATE!
Yes I have seen the problem - it was associated with 2 drives in a down
state, and 1 drive had a tape stuck!
