If you have trunking software installed then you can use:

/etc/opt/SUNWconn/bin/nettr -stats 0 device=ge interval=5

(assuming the head instance is ge0)

else use a combination of

netstat -ni -I ge0 5
netstat -k ge0   (to track errors, buffer overflows, etc)
