Has this ever worked?

If not, what version of Exchange is this?

If it is 2000, did you modify the directives file to support Exchange 2000
as per the release notes/admin guide?

Hello everyone,

I'm getting the error 12 while trying to back up an Exchange client to a
Solaris server.
the log says:
bpbrm main: from client <client_name>: FTL - can't open Exchange file:
\<CLIENT_NAME>\E$\exchsrvr\MDBDATA\ed
b0B1D2.log (EXCHANGE 0xC8000408: Unable to access the file. )

I do have the license for Exchange.

any idea what might be?
