To all,
        I run netbackup 3.4.1 on solaris with stand alone drives.  Sometimes
netbackup will request a specific tape and my operations staff will mount
the tape.  Recently netbackup requested a tape that was off site.  Is there
a command or config to make netbackup request another suitable tape?  The
status of all tapes in the tape pool is either available or suspended.  None
of these tapes have an active status.  I'm assuming that if there where
active tapes netbackup would attempt to append data to the end of those
tapes.
