I know there are issues dup'ing from DLT7k drives to SDLT, primarily
keeping the SDLT drive writing at good speed. Doing a standard dup from
one to the other would not do that.

Is there some adjustments that can be made that will keep the SDLT
moving better? Some buffer settings that will use a disk cache to read
from dlt7k and fill it up before starting to write to SDLT, all the
while still putting as much data as possible in the cache? Or does it
really not matter that much in the end and I'm just over-thinking this?

Thanks.
