Hey!

We have 5 Netapps:

1 is connected to ATL 4/52 with 4 drives
2 are connected to ATL 6/176 6 Drives (3 each)
2 are connected to 4 tapes within a L700 with 9 drives (5 Normal, 4 NDMP (2
each)).

We are backing up qtress , therefore you have no problem of using more
tapes which narrows the backup window
noticeably.

Works fine..

Has anyone ever tried to backup 2 volumes on a network appliance at the
same
time using 2 directly attached tape drives? Our filers are starting to get
a
little large, and it would cut time down if we could attach another drive
to
the filer and run 2 volume backup's at the same time. Is this possible?

Any information would be greatly appreciated
