Try `file <one of the indexes>` and see if its a binary file.

      What exactly do you run this on to convert your catalogs to binary?


      I've run the utility on the directories below  ....... Using this
      syntax - cat_convert -o -b2a (source dir)





      /usr/openv/netbackup/db
      /usr/openv/volmgr/database
      /usr/openv/var





      Finally - How do you know that it worked?
