You don't have to explicitedly specify a path for the cache file. In 3.4.1,
the cache file is created by default wherever the temp variable is set to
but it also creates a "virtual" drive. Each gets deleted once the backup
session finishes.

In the example below, the temp variable is set to c:\temp and the g:\ is the
virtual drive created by OTM since the PC is partitioned as follows:

C: - disk 1 - primary partition
D: - disk 2
E: - cd writer
F: - cd rom

Thank you to all the people that have responded so far.  I do not have a
windows master or any media server so doing it fromt he properties tab
is out of the question.  So the registry is my only option; however, the
actual values escape me.

Another thing that I noticed after I was pointed to tech note 238544 is
that I don't even have a cache file defined in the registry.  Is there
not a cache file setup by default?
