Hey!

Tried taking all the daemons down and up again ?
re-start the library just in case ?
bp.kill_all ?
reboot the master ?
check the SCSI connection ? maybe the chain is broken ?

Shahar.

Hi,

i run netbackup 3.2 on solaris 8. Media server and backup server are same
machine tpf-pbs1.

I have come to look at the backups this morning and they have failed by
timing out error 196. When i look at the device manager with the gui all
the drives are in AVR control, and there are jobs waiting in the pending
requests section.

tailing /var/adm/messages gave me this :-

May 13 10:02:01 tpf-pbs1 tldd[520]: [ID 931527 daemon.error] TLD(0) [520]

I have checked the jukebox L1000 unit and it is online. So im stuck
