Hey!

Nope... it doesnt work fine with multi stream. each stream will start the
bpstart_notify.. and the first one to finish will run the bpend_notify
that will ruin all the other streams still running.

Does the bpstart_notify and bpend_notify work well with Multi streaming ?
I
checked off this option long time before as it try to execute these files
each time a stream starts or ends....  which messes up the whole idea.

Hey!

Try using bpstart_notify and bpend_notify
In the bpstart_notify stop the oracle, then comes the backup
In the bpend_notify start the oracle

Doing it here... except of the big downtime for the oracle.. works very
good.
