Hi,
You are not suppose to install and client on the Linux machine.
Follow those steps:
1. rsh to your NetBackup server from your linux box.
2 launch /<Netbackup Directry>/bin/jnbSA -d
your_linux_machine_name_or_ip:0.0
Good Luck!
Boaz.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Where is the Linux Java GUI installer?
I'd like to install the Java GUI on a laptop running Red Hat 7.1 to manage
NBU DataCenter 3.4 on some Solaris 2.6 servers. What installer do I use, and
on which CD is it located?
I have looked everywhere I can think of -- manuals, support.veritas.com,
and the CDs themselves -- and I just don't see it. Do I need to do a server
install, or a remote client install?
Thank for any suggestions.
