HI to all,

DLT have 9 heads  3 for writing and 6 for reading.
DLT writes the data in tracks (different number and hight for
4000,7000,8000.DLT1 and VS80)

DLT uses the read heads for comparing the data after writing. So it use 3
heads which are after the write heads (dippents on movement of tape).Also
the 7000 and 8000 rotate the head but 4000 ,DLT1 and VS80 not.
