Will,

I can't speak for others, but I'll miss the motif GUI.  It's much more
efficient and in my opinion easier to use then the java GUI.  Does anyone
know if the text based interface (bpadm) will still be available with 4.5?
I use that when I dial in from home.  I only use the java interface to do
restores that are not supported (Exchange) under xbp.

Does anyone think that as a collective group, if we asked for the motif GUI
be updated and brought back Veritas would do it?  Another idea might be to
ask for the motif code and those of us (present company excluded) with
coding skills could maintain, update, and distribute the motif GUI as part
of the user community.
